My wife and I had initially planned to spend a night at this B&B but instead we stayed two days and if it weren’t for other plans, we would have spent our whole summer vacation here.
What a gem this place is. Nested in the countryside and surrounded by hilltops, this tastefully rebuilt historic site has a feel of a luxury hotel (not an exaggeration) and offers an atmosphere of tranquility and warm hospitality. Hosts Rex and Nicky are extremely pleasant, attentive and accommodating. Rooms are private, comfortable and clean. I guarantee you won’t spend much time in your rooms though — the building itself is akin to a museum and the breathtaking views from one of the many seating areas will keep you busy enjoying a glass of Rioja and contemplating life.
If we happen to be traveling again around Murcia, there’s no doubt we’ll be coming back. In all seriousness, this place is one of the highlights of our Spanish trip.

My husband and I had a most enjoyable stay at Molino Charrara. We found the proprietors very friendly and obliging and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Our room was most comfortable and there was an abundance of hot water in an emaculate bathroom. We look forward to returning to this area and staying once again at Molino Charrara.
